Local Filmmaker Showcase

As part of the Amarillo ArtFest, the film showcase will be our opportunity to show our community the best of what we've produced. There is more here than you know…Amarillo has produced a wide range of experienced to aspiring individuals representing every level of video and film production. To get on our mailing list or submit a film for screening consideration click here.


VENUE: The film showcase will take place in the, Horizon West Event Center - a 5,500 sq.ft. newly remodeled space, equipped with a professional rear projection screen, sound system. Our part of this historic event will be strategically located in the heart of the Arts in the Sunset complex (3701 Plains Boulevard).

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS: There will be multiple opportunities for screening local filmmaking team submissions and a special church video producers showcase and workshop (see below).

Point us to your best piece. One submission per person. Screening slots are limited. All types of work will be considered with weight give to Creativity, Quality, Story Telling (appropriate to type of work), The Festival Goals, Amarillo Film Community Participation, and Amarillo Community Values and General Audience Appropriateness.
