3-D Printing Workshop
Description
This workshop during the First Friday Art Walk will teach participants the process of creating art using 3D printers in the spirit of Leonardo da Vinci's view that STEAM disciplines (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) are seamlessly connected. Participants will also leave with a 3-D printed piece! Available for ages 6-15. This workshop will be taught by Jared Kirschgessner, owner of A Daydreamer's Gambit, a 3-D printing and laser engraving business. Jared is also a resident studio artist at Arts in the Sunset. Arts in the Sunset is proud to be a community partner conducting events around Leonardo da Vinci, the new film from Ken Burns, Sarah Burns, and David McMahon premiering November 18th at 7 p.m. on Panhandle PBS. For a full listing of community activities, visit panhandlePBS.org/LeonardoDaVinci.
