A quick reminder from the event team - we have few spaces left in The Mother Road, Open Air, Open Air Paint Out and Show.  Please consider signing up  for this fun event.

This is a unique event in a couple of ways: it is multi state, the Gallery in which we will exhibit is in Texas and we have an extended paint out schedule with a theme that will celebrate the iconic America byway - Route 66, the Mother Road.

As this is a non-juried event, all PAPNM and AAI members are eligible to sign up for this fun and two state event.  We will paint from May 14th to August 29th, 2025, anywhere along the Mother Road in Texas and New Mexico.  This is an event in which you can get as involved as you like or simply paint on your own.  It is up to you!

The Tucumcari Paint Out  is in full swing.  Due to unforeseen circumstances, Wendy Alhm and Jane Fredrick are facilitating the Paint Out in Stephanie West's absence.  The next scheduled paint out is June 20-21 and July 18-20 in Shamrock, Texas. The Paint Out Chair is LaDonna Daniel.

If you have questions, please check out the event page. We have a lot of information there about where to paint (e.g. QR-Locations-Tucumcari.pdf, a blog to share your experiences and where you are capturing the iconic Mother Road, an event  album to post fun pictures as well as Mother Road Social Media templates e.g. Route66-NM-TX-Sq-RanchoCafe.jpg.  You can contact me at pagunderson@att.net

Looking forward to seeing you on the Mother Road!

Best Regards,

Phyllis Gunderson, Event Chair
