Photography Workshop

Description

This workshop will introduce you to the basics of digital photography. Learn how to use a DSLR, mirrorless, or point and shoot camera and control its settings, then get a chance to go on a guided photo walk of Amarillo’s 6th Street area and have a friendly photo critique session with a professional photographer. The workshop will spend the morning working on camera controls and composition, and the afternoon (weather permitting) on a photo walk around the 6th Street/ San Jacinto area. You will meet at Arts in the Sunset, and travel to your destination. Participants will need a DSLR, Mirrorless, or digital point-and-shoot camera, and a laptop or camera with smartphone connectivity to email the photos taken during the workshop.
